Intersections

Intersections was a practice in failure…or in other words embracing imperfection.

Severe vision problems made navigating the world a stressful obstacle course. I began shooting digital photos as a way to ground myself in the moment.

Naturally gravitating towards extremes of contrast as a visual guide, I focused on negative space and later enhanced this with vignetting.

This evolved over time to include experimental journaling and map making. My process of experimenting with place-based themes and interactions between people and environments started here.
